I have a thing for mug rugs. When I first heard the name, I was thrilled at how cute it was. They're basically a coaster with fringe to make it look like a tiny rug (you can probably tell I have an affinity for tiny things).

I couldn't find a pattern that quite matched my taste, so I decided to knit one up. This can be used as a mug rug, plant rug, home decor, or for a doll house.
