I don't know if other crafters feel this way, but when I watch movies while I knit or crochet, the memory of that movie (or whatever piece of media) will be stitched into the garment forever. I thought it'd be fun to show you some of my past projects and what media I paired that experience with (it's a very 2020 list). I'll provide links to the patterns if you want to try out the pairing as well!
- Sunday Oversized Sweater (YouTube video tutorial) by Amanda Loves Santos with Tokyo Ghoul
- Crochet Everyday Cotton Cardigan by Sewrella with Tiger King
- The Haze Scarf & The Phlox Headband by Darling Jadore with One Punch Man
- The Lindy Top by We Are Knitters with The Matrix trilogy
- The Sanne Cowl by Jacqui Verbeek with Hot Ones on YouTube
- Sweater for children by So Wooly with Down to Earth with Zac Efron
- Button Down V-neck Cardigan by For the Frills with Queer Eye
- The Horizons Beanie by All About Ami with The Queen's Gambit
- The Torbeck Beanie by Debrosse with Wonder Woman 1984
- Teenie Beanie by Tinabeanie (me!) with allll the Christmas movies: The Holiday, Elf, Family Stone, Love Actually, & The Night Before
And those were only some of the projects I finished last year. I never captured all the projects in one picture, but below is a picture of half of them. Hopefully you enjoy these pairings like cheese & wine, hot cocoa & marshmallows, ramen & eggs, or like Netflix & yarn crafts!
